Poetry workshop by Vivek Narayanan



Narayanan is Co-Editor of Almost Island, a nine-year old India-based journal, literary organisation and publisher. His poems have been published in translation in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Icelandic, and Malayalam; a full-length collection of his new and selected poems in Swedish translation is due this May in the “world poetry” series of the Stockholm-based publisher Wahlström & Widstrand.

Narayan was most recently, a 2013-14 fellow (in creative writing) at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies, Harvard University. His books of poems include Universal Beach (Harbour Line Press, 2006/In Girum Books, 2011) and Life and Times of Mr S (HarperCollins India, 2012).
